J O Hambro, a leading London investment boutique, approached us to redevelop their existing website. Their previous website was looking outdated, used ageing technologies and was difficult to update on a monthly basis.

The website was designed in-house by the JOHCM marketing team. The design templates were then converted in to an actual website using CSS and XHTML.
Information on the company, the fund managers and the funds is split across three virtual sites, with different content depending on the type of visitor to the site. The entire site is content managed by the JOHCM marketing team with statistical information on funds and performance imported automatically from multiple sources.
Each static page of information or data can be edited by the JOHCM marketing team using a bespoke content management system. The website is updated monthly with new facts and figures for each fund, with more frequent changes to the news and other static pages.
The content management system controls three versions of the main JOHCM website, with advanced permissions and content variations for different users, depending on their profession and membership status.
As well as the live website there is a replica copy of the website for compliance testing. All changes to content and fund data must be approved before going live. Using our bespoke content management system changes can be automatically replicated between the two sites.
Ideal Websites have just finished a complicated re-build of our entire online presence.
The project was completed on time, on budget and with the minimum amount of fuss. The staff at Ideal Websites are professional, knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and really nice guys to work with. I cannot recall a single technical problem for which they did not find a solution.
I would recommend Ideal Websites to anyone and, indeed, have already done so.

http://www.johcm.co.ukThe fund data on the website is sourced from J O Hambro's internal statistics applications. Each month the website is updated with new figures automatically (but not before passing the compliance tests).
Daily fund performance data is also provided by a number of suppliers in XML format. The data from multiple suppliers is then converted in to a standard structure to be displayed on the website.
The content management system also maintains three microsites. These microsites are smaller versions of the main J O Hambro site which provide select information for their 3rd party platforms. The main advantage over three seperate sites and systems is that information can be shared across all three sites or tailored for the specific microsite easily, reducing administration time.
